Not sure what to say?

To the Girvin Family,

On behalf of the Daly family, our thoughts and sympathy are with you on Bill's passing. We were all so fortunate to have one another as neighbors on Cherry Tree Rd. May you be comforted with warm and happy memories.

Bill and I started on the same day in the Investment Department at NYSTRS. Bill was a wonderful person, mentor and friend. He always had a smile for you and was a gentleman. Bill you will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with your family at this sad time.

My deepest sympathy for your loss.

Jan I am so sorry to read about Bill. I know you shared an amazing life and you spoke so lovingly of Bill, that he will be sorely missed. Please accept my deepest sympathy to you and your family.

Monica your swim friend.

I too worked with Bill for many years. He was just the sweetest person and had many stories of his children to tell. He was so proud of his family and truly enjoyed life and all the people around him. I know he will be missed by anyone who knew him. My deepest sympathies to the Girvin family.

I remember Bill fondly from working with him at Teachers'. He was so kind and always had a smile on his face. We had a running joke for me to help him change his password each month. He would call me and say, I need help to change this password, can you stop up? This went on for years and became the norm. Years after Bill retired; my family and I had the pleasure of meeting Steven. I didn't know for quite some time that Bill was his dad. When I found out it was nice to share a few memories....

Gramps, we'll all miss you but we enjoyed your time here. The last thing I told you is I'll see you soon. I know one day I will again. In the meantime, enjoy your heavenly bourbon and cigar. Cheers.
