William Dale "Bill" Gish

Bill was a wonderful cousin and friend. When I was in high school and mentioned to my mom that I was interested in working at a radio station - her first thought was to call Bill. He gave me tips, followed up with me and was so excited for me when I later worked in both radio and television. I believe Bill touched more lives than many of us will ever know. He was always a strong encouraging supporter of anyone involved in the arts of any kind. He understood and was willing to share any knowledge to help.

Bill was my friend, a good friend who made me laugh and was always a loyal fellow performer who attended my performances as well as my wife's. We both loved to talk about the military, old time radio shows and old movies. I kind of felt like we were both old timers together even though he was old enough to be my father.
