I remember Bill had a great sense of humor and loved Sushi. We used to go to an AUCE sushi place around the corner from the courthouse for lunch.

I had the pleasure of meeting Bill Giuffre in Fall of 2008 at University of Baltimore where he was teaching. He was a wonderful person with a bright soul and was very willing to share his wealth of knowledge. I so enjoyed the two classes I had with him and looked forward to more. Many of the students I have spoken to have expressed the same remorse in not having the chance to know him sooner. My thoughts are with the family.

Bill was a wonderful guy who I had the pleasure of knowing for near 30 years as a fellow attorney, prosecutor, and, most importantly, friend. He and I ventured into the new world of computer together, “enjoying” many frustrations along the way - thank you Bill Gates.
Bill and I shared a lifelong joy of learning, just for the sake of learning. He took that to an extreme when he got me to enroll in the LL.M Taxation program at U of B. I never made a dime off that, but throughly...

My friendship with Billy goes back a long back to his Brookline High days. He was a big part of our "Friday Night Gamg." There was a stretch of years that Billy and I would go to the new James Bond movie each New Years Day when it opened. I was glad to reconnect with Billy at our reunions. He really never changed and my thoughts and prayers arw with his family. And yes, every New Years Day I always think about Billy and those James Bond movies and will continue to do so.

I met Bill when he was an ASA and I a law clerk for the Supreme Bench of Baltimore City, now over thirty years ago. I remember him to have been an affable man and a skilled attorney. It’s nice to read the comments of others and to note that the years have not tarnished my memory or weakened the character of a fine man. My condolences to the family.

Bill was my first boss at the Baltimore City State's Attorney's Office. He was kind, gentle, and a great boss! He helped me to move up in the office by encouraging me to apply for other positions. He will be missed greatly! My condolences to Bill's family.

Bill was a good guy. I had the pleasure of collaborating with him on Grand Jury matters during my tenure at the Office of the State's Attorney for Baltimore City. It was always a pleasure working with Bill, especially when we played hookey and drove out to Route 40 West to the Hunan Taste II for all you can eat lunches, with Gary Schenker, Howard Gersh and Bill McCollum. Road Trip! Bill was very crestfallen when they closed the sushi place on Charles Street around the corner from the...

Bill was a fabulous person with a great sense of humor. He showed great compassion and love for his friends and colleagues here at the Public Defenders Office. I will miss his smile and passion for life. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family. May they be blessed with many happy memories of their life with Bill.
