Not sure what to say?

From the first day I met Bill, he treated us like part of the family, part of the neighborhood, even though my family came to the Oregon Coast from out of state. In the short time that I got to know Bill, he became like a surrogate father to me. It hasnt always been easy to tell people about my profession as an accountant, but Bill always understood and lent an open ear. Ill miss the time we spent just talking about life around the bonfire. Hell be greatly missed by our family.

Wayne and I were so sorry to hear of Bill's passing. We shared many wonderful memories of our good times with Bill and Pat.
Bill was a good friend, great Father and wonderful husband. We will miss him!

Sorry and surprised to discover this in the Oregonian, which I only occasionally look at. Bill was a second cousin. I only spoke with him a couple of times when he came to our family reunion but used to watch him on tv when he danced on Portland's version of American Bandstand! So sorry to hear that he is gone at such a "young age" Yes, he was younger than me! Thoughts and prayers are with you.

Sure sorry to hear of Bills passing. As neighbors of the family for a number of years, there were a lot of fun times!! Cars, 4X4ing, Bikes, Hot Tubing and all!!God Bless Bill and the family! May he rest in peace.

Hey Poppy, I miss you so much. Wish you were here. Love you!
