William "Bill" Goetchius

Bill was a wonderful and caring person and everyone in Wolf Lake knew and loved him. I have many memories of him playing kick ball with all the neighbor kids. He was our neighbor for years and he kept his yard spectacular. We will miss him!

Billy was a wonderful friend and always asked how my family was doing. He will definitely be missed by many, myself included. Prayers to his family during this difficult time and big hugs.

Bill was simply one of the best. My favorite memory of Bill is when he and I lost track of the goat he and I had staked out prior to a (failed) demonstration of the parable of the lost sheep at Vacation Bible School at Wolf Lake UMC in the late '80's. (The goat was the closest thing to a sheep we had at the time.) A hundred kids in the woods and no goat. Turned out that a neighbor heard it bleating, felt sorry for it, and took it home with her. A truly good man.

So sorry for your loss. We enjoyed spending time with Billy at bowling and different events we would share with him. He was blessed to have a loving caring family.
