Enjoyed working with Mr. Goodman as a Clarion-Ledger reporter covering the Ayers case and trial in the 1990s. He was always well-prepared, and a cordial Southern gentleman.Many achievements in the legal world and his community. Condolences to the family.

My father, Charles Garvin, was an employee of Texaco Oil in Jackson for decades. He mentioned to me many times that Bill Goodman was a good lawyer and a good man, as they worked together often over the years. Another of the Greatest Generation ending their journey.
