Not sure what to say?

My condolences to the Gordon family. He delivered me almost 55 years ago and was our family doctor. He definitely left a memorable impression that lasted through my adult life. He would make house calls to my aunt. His son Dudley became my doctor until to his retirement. Dr Gordon(s) were my family doctor for many of my family members for decades. Once again, sorry for your loss...from the Mateer/Etzweiler family.

Truly "a man who never met a stranger," Doc was one of the finest men I've ever met. His legacy goes far beyond the wonderful family he left behind. Thank you, Doc, and rest in peace.

My prayers are for Bill and his family. He was a great physician and even more importantly a great person. He will be missed by many.

We were planning an in person visit to relay our condolences but the snow and the plow that closed off our driveway had other plans. I first met Dr Gordon in 1964 when we moved to the area and immediately needed a doctor and he made a house call! In the years since and until he retired, he was our doctor. Respected and trusted in every way. Dudley stepped in to fill his shoes and continued the same care. Bill was always pleasant and caring and it was amazing to see him at the gym into his...

The Dauphin County Woodland Owners Association (DCWOA) board and members respectfully offer our sincere condolences to the Gordan family. Bill (Doc) was a dedicated member over the years, past board member, and an outstanding Friend of the Forest. He was a professional gentleman, a preservationist, as well as a conservationist. A true Piketonian at heart. May our Lord's peace and grace be upon Bill and the entire Gordan family. Mike / Glenda Thomas & DCWOA Board

A true friend has left this world .Doc Gordon was a true friend to everyone. He was my dr growing up. Then when he retired Dudley was my dr. He would always stop and say hi when he would see mom and dad and i walking up the street in Houcks manor . I remember when i was 7 or 8 and i had to get a shot in my shoulder and the time came and i had a fit that i hid under neath doc's big old desk that was in his office and i balled my eyes out and had a fit .. My mom wasnt happy with me .. so when...

My deepest sympathy to the Gordon family. A few years ago, I had the opportunity to thank Dr. Gordon for tending to me after I fell off of my bicycle when I was 8 years old. It was a Sunday afternoon, but he told my mom to bring me over, and I was a crying, bloodied mess. I can still remember how gentle and calming he was, using tweezers to pick gravel out of my cheek and lips. After 62 years, the memory of his kindness has remained vivid.

We feel blessed to have the opportunity to have Bill as a friend. Hugs and prayers to his family. Those memories that you have will keep him close to your hearts. He will be missed.
