Not sure what to say?

Keith and I knew Billy when our children were young. My son Kyle sat on his lap while Billy played the drums...he was 3 and still remembers it. I cannot think of another person who made me laugh so hard that your face hurt. Of course, we lose touch but I will never fogret how much he touched my life. We called him the 'boot' because he could never keep a secret and he had such a endearing smile and laugh. I just wish we could of had one more laugh. He was also my son Kevins's godather.

Im truely sorry for your loss and my deepest sympathy to you and your family

Bill (Chipper) and I were great friends as kids, we were cub scouts together, his Mom was our Den Mother, and a second Mom to me for many years...In junior high we had a band that practiced in the Gracie's basement, he was always an awesome drummer. As teenagers, Billy and I used to hunt together at a farm outside Ann Arbor, I'd sleep over and we'd get up before dawn to drive out to the farm in the dark...I have so many fond memories of life and times at the Gracie house, memories I will...

A world-class musician. A lifelong friend. A truly magical and amazing human being... Not to mention a guy who drummed for three hours on my pots and pans one night and never missed a beat!

Cherie, love & blessings to you and your son.

Bill playing with the Martian Entropy Band circa 1974

Bill was one of the finest drummers that ever lived. He never got the recognition he deserved. He played with the Martian Entropy Band from 1973-1976. He was a good friend and a colorful character. He will be greatly missed.

Shocked to hear the sad news.
