Not sure what to say?

Uncle Bill was always "bigger then life", a knight in shining armour, a quick smile, laughter always, fun-loving and there for me always through good times and bad. Bill, Dad, Mom, Tom, Daddy-Da, Gommee, Ross and Blanche are not forgotten--may you all shine together in your new life as you have in mine. You all remain forever in my heart and soul an integral part of my and my daughter's life. Bruce, Rex, Tammy, Joanne and family, thank you for your hospitality and love. Blessings, Sue...

Tonight's Memorial to my "Bill-Bill" was tastefully and lovingly done. It is difficult for me to write, with the problems of my "extended youth."

"Bill-Bill" was what I called him as a baby and the family followed through (I also named "Gommee" and "Daddy-Da"!) Then, he wanted to be "Bill", which confused the entire town -- about the same time "Bud" or my name, "Unca Bo," wanted to become "Dan." The whole town called Big Blanche "Gommee" and called Mama "Little Blanche."...

Fifty years ago Bill was “Best Man” at our wedding. One year later, Chip was born, Bill appointed himself Chip’s “God Father” and from that point on he was known as “Uncle Bill” in our house.

Bill remained a good friend. He always had time to listen and provide encouraging words and advice when needed.

He will be remembered as a very important part of my life.

My Love and Prayers are with Joanne, Bruce and Rex.

Lani and I wish to give our heart felt
sympathy to Joann and the entire
Grant family as we will miss Bill greatly, He has been such a great
friend and neighbor to us for many
years.

Bill and Joanne have been such a wonderful part of my life since I was a youngster growing up in Lakewood. They introduced me to my husband and Bill played "surrogate" father giving me away at my wedding. He has given me such special memories and he will be tremendously missed by all those who knew and loved him.
Heartfelt prayers go out to Joanne, Bruce, Rex and all the Grant family.

We are truly sorry to lose such a wonderful Neighbor. Bill was always so friendly to everyone and while growing up in St. Pete, we met him at his dealership. Marti & Thom Smith
