William J. Gray

As someone who has known Bill since we were squirts in junior high, as his first roommate in college at the University of Michigan, I have long admired and cared about this man. He was a buddy, a teacher, a truly funny guy. He was a man to whom charm came naturally and grace will abide always with his memory. May God bless you, Bill, for you walked this world, every day of it that I knew you, as a good and honorable man. And my, how we laughed.

I only met Bill once and he was very kind. I work with his son Todd and if Todd is any reflection of his father than he must have been a great man. To the entire family, I am so sorry and my thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this difficult time.

I never spent time with Bill when he did not come up with a witty quip, a funny joke, or an interesting fact. He was an excellent party guest...always the first to arrive and the last to leave...and with Bill, that was a good thing! My love and prayers go to the extended Gray family. As I am sure you knew, and are experiencing even more these last days, Bill positively touched many lives.

Bill, you were a friend and buddy. I will really miss you. Thank you for the enormous time that you invested in the Boy Scout outings and events. You were there for me when I needed someone to lean on when discharged from the hospital after my accident. I will always remember the dinners we shared, the time of fellowship with our wives and friends. So many unsaid thanks. You are in my prayers. May you rest in peace.

Ken and I are so sorry, for your loss Suzy. My father remembered Bill playing our yard in Kalamazoo with my brothers, and David breaking his arm in their yard. If I can ever to anything let me know, Bill had a kind heart and a great smile. He will be missed by all. Love Jolie

Bill had a charming personality. Anyone who met him liked him instantly. He was not only a great colleague but an awesome friend and more like a father figure to us (his Business Objects colleagues). He leaves behind an unfillable vaccum and will be missed greatly. May the Lord rest his soul in peace and grant us all strength to deal with this tremendous loss! Amen!

Bill was a quiet man with a heart that was always open. I will always remember him for helping our family in our time of need. He was always there when you needed him. He was a wonderful Scout leader and helped teach my son great values. We will miss him dearly but never forget him.

Always helping others, an excellent person and manager. I will always miss you and cherish the memories. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Rest in peace, my good friend.
