GREENE, William Robert 3/21/1942 - 10/29/2016 Billy was one of my many brothers and the one I learned from the most. I learned compassion from him - when I saw him weep over a strayed pregnant dog that had been hit by a car. He stayed with it till it died and then buried it. I learned to be a...

Not sure what to say?

That's a beautiful tribute to your brother, Paul. I remember a similar story about the dogs. Is there an obituary somewhere? Or, could you feel comfortable contacting me at: [email protected]? If you do, please put your name, or his, in the subject so I don't think it's junk mail. Sorry to hear of his death.

I loved my Uncle Billy! He was a good man and loved his family. My prayers and condolences are with the family. I love y'all and miss y'all!

To all the Greene family, in general, and Todd and Adam, especially;

Uncle Billy will be sorely missed. In 1970 something, he gave me my first Arizona succulent which I replanted in a huge pot and watered daily. Two big no-no's for a succulent. It didn't last long. I recently bought another that I know to handle with better care. He loved his family. Was always smiling and laughing when I saw him. That's the way I will remember him. A real Tucson cowboy. Love to all. Sally

Bill Greene, I loved to hear him laugh when he and Paul would share memories. He was my brother too thru Paul and I had a special place in my heart for Bill.

An excellent tribute. Sounds like the writer is the type of person to pass Mr. Greene's gifts along.
