It was such a pleasure to have met Bill. He was always smiling and he was genuinely interested in the people he met. Blessings to his entire family. Our deepest sympathy.

Marilyn,
I was so saddened to read your husband's obituary in the Argus Leader this morning.
I didn't have the opportunity to know him, but I am certain that your husband would have to be a wonderful man. I am glad that you are surrounded and supported by children and grandchildren. You and your family will remain in my prayers. (I have many fond memories of summer school at Augustana.)

Very saddened to hear about Bills death. He always had a kind word to share. We worked on numerous projects together and he was an inspiration to all. Rest in Heaven my friend.

A part of the High Desert has left us. What a great loss this has been. I had the distinct honor of working with Bill, He was a man who deeply cared about his community.

What a great guy. Always upbeat and friendly. I had the pleasure of communicating with him in the world of communications, letting the HD know what was going on at VVC. RIP Bill

Bill and I were in school together from the beginning so I knew him and his family well. I remember Bill as having such a vibrant personality. He was also very talented. We shared in the production of several school plays together, although he was the actor and I was most often behind the scenes. I was pleasantly surprised to hear of his minor league baseball career - obviously the dream of every high school athlete and the only one on our class to do so. He indeed leaves a wonderful legacy behind for both the college and to his family. Please know that my prayers are with you and that Bill will always have a place in the hearts and memories of his classmates. Mary Ewalt Chatelain
