William F. Gross

I was saddened to hear of Bill's passing. We worked together in Mendocino County and were also "golfing buddies" with Don Scotto and Fred Kendall.I was the young guy in the group playing with the "old men".
I remember after the passing of prop. 13 he would go through the office telling us how we were all going to be laid-off; in his joking way. When I requested more pencils I had to give him the nub of my old pencil.
We were political oppicites, me a Social Worker him retired...
