Not sure what to say?

Found this doing a little "where are they now" online. Bill was my manager for a time at Knight Ridder back in the 80's. He was great guy and manager. My sympathies to the family.

One of my fondest and privileged memories was the recruitment of former HoVal students to serve on the staff of Camp Aquehonga, Ten Mile River Scout Camps, serving scouts and scouters from New York City. Bill Growth was one of those former students. His infectious smile and cheerfulness as an aquatics instructor and staffer exemplified the principles of the Scout Oath and Law, especially friendly, helpful, and cheerful service to others. Thanks be to God for his presence in my life. George...

He was a good person. I worked with him at Knight-Ridder. I have not seen him in more than 30 year, but I do remember him and appreciate his kindness.

I remember Bill and Jean well (and Charlie too) from PCD & LCD and other dances and only wish I had kept in better touch over the years as I truly like them all and enjoyed the time we had together. Hope that "Time Softens the Impact" as quickly as may be.

We grew up in a great neighborhood with Bill and his family. So many good fun memories. Rest now Bill you lived life as a wonderful example to all.

I am grateful for Bill Groth - his friendship and positive attitude despite all he went through. Enjoyed sharing a joke with him in the trenches of Lyme/neurological disease. He loved his family. God love and rest this awesome soul.

Bill was a very good human being who was always
positive and supportive. His family and friends were of paramount importance. We will have joyful thoughts every time we think of him.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow. Helen Keller said it best when she wrote: "What we once enjoyed and deeply loved we can never lose, for all that we love deeply becomes a part of us."
