William Richard “Dick” Gum, 85, of Ocean City, NJ, passed away on February 3, 2017. Formerly of Lansdale, PA, he became a full-time resident of Ocean City in 1999. He and his wife, Patricia Ann (Thompson) Gum, celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary on May 19th.

My condolence for the loss of your family member.I worked for Richard in 1967. He was the best boss I ever had. Pat you were at my wedding in 1968. Richard rest in peace.

Sam and I were so shocked to hear and found out from an email that the yacht club sent out today.

We will miss seeing him spending time out on the deck watching the boats go by. His love of Night in Venice, riding his bike around town, and our conversations over the fence.
