William E. Haas

Members of the Board of Trustees of the East Syracuse Free Lbirary were so sorry to hear of Bill's passing. He was a great friend to Libraries and a wonderful leader to the East Syracuse Library Board.

Dear Aunt Lou, Dick and Janet, Bob and all of the girls,

I just want you know how much my heart is breaking. As you know Uncle Hessie was one of my favorite people in the world and was always a love and inspiration from the time that he would "show me the kitten" and smother me with kisses. I used to call him "Uncle Bristles" from the whickers that would poke me when he grabbed me to kiss me!
