Not sure what to say?

I worked with Bill at McNeil in the early 70's. Never got to re-connect, but we did share emails. Bill was a wonderful man a real pleasure to know and he had a great sense of humor.
I'll be sure to let Dave Wentling know.

I worked with Bill for many years at J&J. He was the nicest guy you could hope to meet, and one of the most cheerful, which I'm sure had a lot to do with having a wonderful family. I'm sure he will be greatly missed, and I offer my condolences to his loved ones.

What a great husband, wonderful father, and Christian man . . . he will be greatly missed. Bill is enjoying his time now with his Heavenly Father, and I know that when he stepped into the arms of his Lord, Jesus said, "Well done, my good and faithful servant. Come into my rest and enjoy!" All of the Spilman family will be keeping Rita, Holly, and Christa in our prayers for comfort to walk through this time without Bill. May God grant you peace.

Bill was a fantastic boss and friend and will be terribly missed! He was like a dad to me! My thoughts and prayers go out to his family for this tremendous loss...

Loved my daddy so much... special thanks to those who are leaving messages here. We enjoy reading how special he was to others....

He's in the presence of the King.. My prayers for God's comfort and care, during this most painful time..

Bill was simply a great guy to work with!!!!!! Always cheerful. I worked with him when he was at PRD in Raritan, NJ. I can still remember him responding to people when asked how he was doing. His response was always “TERRIFIC”. In addition to being a great scientist, he was a great man. He will be missed dearly. I feel fortunate to have shared a small part of his life as I am a better person for it.

I worked with Bill for a good number of years. He was a witty, funny, and kind-hearted person; just an all around good guy.

My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.
