Not sure what to say?

I was a McKinley kid so I didn't get the opportunity to meet Scott until 10th grade at SW. It didn't take long for me to understand why he was so well-liked by his Zimmerman buddies. He was just one of those guys who was just fun to be around. I couldn't make it to the reunion but I was fortunate enough to have been one of the guys who played golf with Scott the day before and then we all sat around the clubhouse patio drinking a few cold ones and swapping stories with the Zimmerman and...

I have nothing but GOOD memories of my time on earth with Scott. Playing ball at Zimmerman, playing ball at the "mud hole", playing ball in the street. Jamming 5 of us in Dave Kollar's Mustang and cruising the "A" and Kewpees. Sorry to have missed the last reunion that Scott attended, but got a chance to play golf with him and a few friends a couple of years back, which gave him a chance to beat me again (as always). God now has one of the world's best smiles at his side.

I haven't seen Scott for many years after Fisher #1 closed. However, I will never forget working with him and golfing on the team with him sharing many laughs and stories. God speed Scott and "GO BLUE" forever!

Our deepest sorrow and sympathy to the family. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Tom, Candy and Chad Klamert

Love you Uncle Scott! You will be missed by everyone you every met! Love you Tash and Dustin!

Scott was always a fun dude to be around, always had the bright side up. You could always see that smile coming up the street two blocks away. Been 44 years, can still see it. Heck of a ball player, serious. Great on grounders, like I never was. But he was short, low to the ground, like about half of that crew. And coordinated. Big advantage. One of the friendliest and happiest kids I knew growing up on the ol' west side. So long Scott. Peace.

I don't know what to say about losing my best friend. We'd been through so much together. Marriages, divorce, kids and grandkids. Our daughters are even best friends. I just know I'll never have a friend like that again and it hurts. We are friends.... we are friends....

Scott was truly one of the good guys. He would always put a smile on my face when I saw him walk in the room. I enjoyed our time golfing and playing poker together. We would always get into that all familiar MSU/UofM and we both knew it was all in good fun and it truly was. There was many a night I would go home with my ribs hurting from laughing with Scott. I will truly miss him! To Dustin and Tasha/Chris keep your heads up, this is the difficult time! You will always have the...

The Usual Suspects

It was so good to see Scott at the class reunion a few weeks ago.The guys were able to play golf together, just like the olds days at Swartz Creek, when they walked or rode their bikes! The day when Scott got the hole in one, was a tale we never heard the end of. He never got tired of telling about it!
He was more than one of the guys in our neighborhood. They were not only friends but like the brothers I never had!
Those were the days when summers were long, and you were outside...
