Not sure what to say?

Dearest Tom and Kerry,

I'm so sorry to hear about your dad. It's never easy losing someone so special and strong -- the man who always made his family feel safe, but more important, loved.

My heart goes out to you all, and I will whisper a prayer for your dad as well as your family.

Take care and God bless.

Most sincerely,

Dana (Karwacki) Jakus
Dallas, Texas

Dear Kerry,

I am not sure if you remember me or not. I went to grade school and high school with you. Over the years, I have often wondered where everyone has settled during their lives. I have thought of you and a few others very often. I just saw this today and wanted to offer my sympathies to you and your family. Losing a parent is a very difficult experience and I hope it is comforting to you to know that your friends, old or present, are thinking of you in your loss. ...

Dear Elsie & Family,

Please accept my deepest sympathies. Bill was a true friend who helped me go through life changes after I had a stroke at the age of eleven. Bill taught me the ropes & guided me filling his shoes as taking over becoming the next President of the Stroke Club. I will cherish the memories forever. Bill will always live in my Hearts & Prayers. True Friends Forever...!

Dad,
It is the night before your funeral and I sit here trying as hard as I may to put finishing touches to the Eulogy I am about to deliver in your honor.
There is so much I want to say without breaking down, without stepping on my tongue, without being grammatically incorrect, but somehow I know you won't mind my effort. I am going to give a speech from my heart and not from a written document just like I have seen you do so many times before in my youth.
Please smile down...

Dear Elsie and family,
We are so sorry for your loss. I remember Uncle Bill as a great man. He was one of a kind.
Love, Janice (Paulson) & Jon Hartman

Weens,
Even when you see him declining & the end finally comes, it's hard to say good-bye to Dad. He'll still be there for you in another way. Peace, Glenn Sheridan

Dear Elsie, Bob, Pat, Kerry, Tom and Laurie
I know it has been years since I was part of your wonderful family, but in my heart I have never left. I have the most wonderful memories of us as kids and how you all made me feel as if I was one of you. Most of all, Mom and Dad made me feel like I was a special part of your family. Dad was the kindest man I have known. He loved all of us unconditional and I am forever grateful in having him as part of my life and Patrice's life.
