We lived just blocks from Bill when growing up on Oak Avenue in the Fairmont subdivision of Lockport, IL. I particularly remember taking the bus to work at Silver Cross Hospital, and once when waiting for my transfer on Cass & Collins, Bill stopped to give me a ride. The DelSasso family is very proud to have known Bill and all he accomplished. Our brother Ramon DelSasso and his wife Evelyn are also interred at Abraham Lincoln Cemetery.

I remember him in the 1960's coming out to the farm in Newark. Illinois to hunt pheasants. Wonderful memories
