I just learned the sad news of "mr Halpin´s passing and want to just share my remembrance of him as my science teacher when I was a student at Cliffside Jr. High in the late 50´s. He was my favorite teacher, above all, when I look back at my education although I had a whole range of science classes throughout high school, college and grad school. He made science fascinating and fun. My condolences to the family. I know he´ll be missed by generations of students just like me.
