Not sure what to say?

You told me I could do or be anything I wanted to be. You said you knew I could do anything. I also remember singing jaberwalky as as warm up in choir...

Mrs. Hamble, I just learned of Mr. Hamble's passing. I am so sorry for you and your family. I was a student of your talented husband at Seaman High School in Topeka. What a delight he was ! I dearly loved the man. I remember when you had Heidi, when he entered the classroom, we would holler out, " Hidee, Heidi !! " He'd laugh at us and shake his head ! I know he will be missed. God bless you.

Mr. Hamble was more than a teacher at Ruskin. He was a mentor, an enthusiast who inspired you to "perfect pitch" both in choir and in life.
He made learning fun and exposed us to musical obstacles that made us yearn for more. During my junior and senior year at Ruskin, we competed in the Missouri State contests in Warrensburg, and both years brought home 1st place! Before my initial audition with him, I had no idea I could sing that well. He just brought it out in you.

Memories of Bill helping me at Camp Wood and the great spirit he had! He was a great person and I am thankful to have known him! My prayers for Virginia, Sabrina and Heidi. With love, LaDonna Wind

My favorite memories of high school are of singing in choir under Mr. Hamble's direction. He introduced me to the music of Cole Porter, Jerome Kern, Handel, and so many others. His passion for music was so very infectious. I remember how his left shoulder would inch up toward the ceiling when we were flat. My other time at Ruskin is mostly a blur, but I remember my time in choir with Mr. Hamble so clearly. To this day, I miss singing in his choir. Such a noteworthy man and life.

I had Mr. Hamble in choir at Ruskin. He was SO much fun and really loved teaching. I was very fond of him and was very fortunate to have him and the other wonderful music teachers at Ruskin at that time. So much so that I became a pro musician and still am to this day. Mr. Hamble played a part in my love for music and I will forever be grateful!

My condolences to his family and friends.
