Very sad to learn of the death of journalism colleague Bill Hanson. We covered many sessions of the Montana Legislature together -- Bill for United Press International and I for The Associated Press. AP reporter Bob Anez and I shared a state Capitol office with Bill for more than a decade. Low-key, unflappable and a good friend. RIP, Bill.
