I knew this incredibly gifted man through the loving eyes and heart of Marilyn and I send my heartfelt condolences to the entire family. May the wonderful memories give you pause to smile and feel his warmth and give you the strength to get through this painful grieving process.

Although I knew only of Bill through his wife, Marilyn, I admired knowing him at a distance. A friend and I recently visited the Vietnam War memorial in Worcester and were greatly impressed. It is beautiful. And so to Marilyn and Bill's family I send heartfelt condolences with the hope that knowing your grief is shared with others, will lessen your own.

Marilyn, Stephen, and Ann,

I will always remember Bill for his high level of energy and curiosity. I remember how he loved to play a game of tennis and then move into a discission about art.
