William Donald Harling

Donnie's father was known to me as "Uncle Buck" as he was the brother of my mother Ellen (Harling) Cluck. My parents always visited Buck & Alice whenever we visited Harrisburg and at times Donnie would be at their house - we would talk Marine things and baseball. My last contact with Donnie was a phone call offering his condolences over the loss of our son in April 1978. I was in the USMC at the time and have never returned to Harrisburg. Saw this obit and recalled fond memories. God bless...

To Buck's family,
Your Dad was a great man. My Jim and him were buddies at the Sportsman's and each Christmas Buck and his wife would make and bring us the very best punkin rolls. He will be missed.
