Dear Linda,

So sorry to read about Bill's death. Please know I am thinking about you at this sorrowful time.

Linda, As you know Bill and I have been friends for over 60 years. It began as freshmen at RPI when we lived in adjacent quanset huts, and ripened as we lived in the same dorm as sophmores and then in the same room, for two years, in the Chi Phi fraternity house. It continues until today even though we have not seen each other for some time. You have been a wonderful wife and partner to him and we hope you will be ok. I'm very sorry we are unable to be there, but we don't fly anymore and...

Dear Linda and all of Bill's family, I am truly saddened to learn of Bill's passing. I hold you in my thoughts and heart. Sincerely. Mary C Denham (Bonner)

With heartfelt sympathy for the Harper Family. May the God of tender mercies and comfort, comfort you at this time.

Dear Linda, I'm so sorry for your loss. You are in my prayers. I remember good times with you and Bill, a special man, one half of a special couple.

To Bill's family, I knew you as a teen-ager when you took me to the movies. You were always a lot of fun and always a gentleman toward me.
Blessings on you, Bill. You will be missed by many who knew you. You were a good man!

Dear Linda,
My sympathy for you and your entire family.

I think Bill was unique in that he was a skier and we who ski are a special breed, among the few who experience a rush and nearness to a Higher Being because of the altitude where we played. Few can make the claim.

In a sense we are comrades in arms for this shared experience, the rush and risk of it all, and have survived those runs.
