When I think of my many visits to the Harriman home, both as a child and as an adult, I always think of the warm smile and friendly greeting I received from "Dad". Cindi's dad was quick to engage me in conversation and I enjoyed hearing about his garden and grandchildren as much as I enjoyed him asking me about my children and father. What a treat it was to be respected in such a way as a child. What an honor to be so respected as an adult.
