Bill worked for my father, Col. Ted Marks in Vietnam, and said of him “Bill Hartzog was my favorite company commander.” My father loved his humor, spirt and hard as nails leadership. My husband also served with him at Ft. Riley and at the Pentagon. I am great full to have known Bill and Bobbe.

Shocked and saddened to see this news today. What a great boss, mentor, and leader. I worked for GEN Hartzog from 1995-1997 as one of his speecwriters in the CPG at TRADOC. He taught me much and will be sorely missed.
