William H. Hatheway

While at NC State, Bill encouraged me to take the OTS tropical ecology field course in Costa Rica. We both moved to the University of Washington, where Bill was my major advisor for my doctoral research at the La Selva Biological Station. Our condolences to Bill's family and friends.

"Uncle" Bill and my father were very close friends, and indeed our two families were close. My deepest sympathy to Dave, Bob, and Larry and the entire Hatheway family.

Sending my deepest sympathies to my dear cousins - Dave, Bob & Larry and their families. I didn't know your Dad, being the youngest of the Olson's, but I remember how much respect my mother had for Bill. I'm praying that you find comfort in your happy memories.
