William Hawks M.D.

Bill and I shared the Gross Anatomy table in 1963 and 1964. What a time that was. I loved the guy. He was inciteful, intelligent, calm, sensitive, proper, with a great smile. Could not have asked for a better partner. So happy he had a great life serving others all over the globe. I am sure he will be missed by everyone he came in contact with. I was sad to see that Dr. Hawks is no longer with us. I wish I had known how much he had accomplished and how many lives he had helped when I visited him for eye care in the past few years. I first saw him for treatment of what I had been incorrectly told was a stubborn stye that would not heal. He told me that it was in fact a chalazion and that he could remove it for me right away if I wanted him to.
