William "Bill" Hawthorn

Dear Judy and all the family, I am very sorry to read in the New Haven newspaper the news of your sad loss. All those years ago, when we were teaching colleagues and then graduate students together, I have fond memories of Bill. Bill was always friendly and kind to me and welcoming to your home. Your family has certainly grown so much since then and will be a blessing and comfort as you move forward without your beloved husband. Please accept my most sincere sympathy.

Very very sorry to hear of Bill's passing. Haven't seen him for a long time but have fond memories of out times together. Take care Judy
