I had the honor and great pleasure of working for Bill Hayes while I was in college as well as my first year of law school. He fostered my love for the study of law in many ways, including in the course of many spirited discussions. He was a gifted teacher and I learned much from our time together. In fact, I continued to learn from him long after I graduated law school and began practicing law. I will forever remember his amazing presence and his passionate advocacy.

" I just wanted to say that Mr. Hayes was a fine man. My grandmother worked for him years ago. I had the honor of talking with him months ago and I am so saddened to hear of his untimely departure. My sincere condolences to the Hayes family. God bless."
