I have great memories of Dr.Hayes. He worked with my mom, Julia Chelberg,RN,Head Nurse of Orthopedics, at Grossmont Hospital for 20 years. He was our go to ortho expert and we all ended up needing him or Dr.Lake at some point in our lives. I was in a car accident and Dr. Hayes found out and barked at me for not calling him. I know my mom really respected him and that was pretty high praise for a doctor coming from my mom and her co-hort, Frances Mial, since they had both been military...
