Not sure what to say?

Grew up on Larch Avenue with Billy. Great memories from those wonderful years.

I realize this is probably not going to be read and is over 10 years late. Mr. Hector was my American History teacher in 2000 at DGN. I graduated from the University of Iowa with a degree in history. He is the guy that got me into it.

I just found out about Bill's death and want to express my sympathies to the family.

Bill taught at Belvidere High when I was there from 71-75 and while I didn't have him as a teacher, he had a great reputation and was an all around decent fun person who consistently challenged his students.

Dear Anne,

I was so sorry to come upon the news of Mr. Hector's death today. He has been a treasured, shaping influence in my life, both as a teacher and friend. I will always remember his joy & perseverance in doing good for others even when things were difficult in his own life. He will be sorely missed.

I was sorry to learn of Bill's passing. I had the pleasure of meeting Bill at a couple of Jaycee functionns. We have lost a good man! My prayers are with his family. David Wiley #29007

My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.

Dear Anne, I am so sorry to hear about Bill's passing. Every year he wanted to be involved with guarding and passing out the race medals at the Bonfield Express 5K Race on Thanksgiving morning. He always wanted to be a helper and volunteer in any way he could. He was such a kind and giving person; a really great guy. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Sincerely, Annette Bonfield

Anne:

I'm very sorry for your loss.

Dear Anne,
Please accept my deepest sympathy on the loss of Bill. Unfortunately, I just learned of Bill's death and missed his services. Bill, Bruce, Hank lived on Larch Ave which is where I also use to live. We met many years ago when Bill was teaching at Belvidere. I have great recall of how caring you were back then.

Bill has left his gift of love by helping so many people. Could you please also send my sympathies to Bruce and Hank on the loss of their brother.
Your were...
