Being just an in-law by marriage, I will always remember Bill as someone who commanded respect by just walking in to a room. I knew him as kind, generous, and a man of his word. His dry sense of humor was always to make a point, without needless words, which I always enjoyed. To say that he was intelligent is an understatement. That is how I remember him. My regret is not knowing him better.
