Not sure what to say?

Two quick memories about frequent episodes in the nursing home. One was the fun we both derived from playfully wrestling before I got Bill into bed. The other was Bill's obvious pleasure when Mary and the dogs visited. I wish I still had the opportunity to converse with him; he had some valuable insights to share gained from his experiences.

It's already been seven years? I remember Bill as if he and I were together just a week ago. The evenings spent with him were never a burden even when he was experiencing seizures. I enjoyed his company and serving him. I remember Bill with great admiration. I look forward to seeing him again. May the "God of All Comfort" grace his family and friends.

I read bout Bill's passing in the UNM Medical School alumni journal, but I knew Bill briefly at ENMU (Clovis and Portales NM haven't changed much) Bill was so bright and very kind and helpful to everyone he met. It was clear that his family was so important to him. Our prayers are with his family, who must have...

Dr. Bill was a pleasure to care for during the years I had the privilege. He became a friend. I admired him much for his humility (despite his notable accomplishments), his intellect, humor and for his courageous endurance with disability. May he drive a Morgan again.

My sincere condolences to the family for the loss of your loved one. May prayers strengthen you and memories comfort you. May our Lord Jesus Christ and God our Father, who loves us, comfort your hearts and make you firm. (2 Thessalonians 2:16, 17).
