Not sure what to say?

Heller Family,

I was shocked and saddened last night, by the news of Bill’s passing. Although I only knew him through the lumber company, I will always remember him. Bill was the first supplier to offer my small one man carpentry company a line of credit. He trusted in me, and to a larger extent mankind, and I never would have betrayed that trust. His broad smile and warm greetings met me every time I came into the office. There was a genuineness that...

Dear Heller Family,
I was one of many Boy Scouts priviledged to work with Mr. Heller over the years. He was one of the most kind and helpful people I worked with, and he was more than willing to donate lumber from his business to help a service project I was running. I offer my condolences as he a person who would treat a stranger with the kindness that he felt was due.

Dear Heller Family,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. Bill was the kind of man who lived a life we all wish we could emulate. What a perfect example for us all. He will be truly missed but not forgotten.

I was so sorry to hear of Bill's death. It was my pleasure to play tennis with him through Heritage on Saturday mornings and evenings over the last two years. I didn't know him well, but he was a pleasure to be around. We will miss him.

Dear Jane,
You and your family have been in my thoughts and prayers. Wink, I pray that you are consoled by your exceptional family and warm memories. I know that you and Bill fought hard--we just can't understand why the illness had to be victorious over your efforts and the prayers of many.
My deepest sympathy to all of you,
Ann (Slats to Jane)

Sorry for your loss.

Dear Wink: My heart is with you, Janie and Bobbie, this week as you go through this most difficult time. I know, all too well, what you are going through. I think the peace we finally discover is in knowing that the suffering is over but also in knowing he will always be with you in spirit and in love. May God bless all of you and help you find that peace.
Love,
Jan

Knowing Bill for more than thirty-five years has been an honor. He has always been a man of exceptional integrity. It is hard to except the reality of such good and descent man being taken from us at such a young age. I felt the deep sadness that enveloped the lumber yard the day Jim, informed of Bill's illness. He will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with The Heller family.
