Not sure what to say?

Annette, Michael, and Leslie,
Mom asked me to send off a note that she was sorry about Bill's passing and that her thoughts were with all of you. She also made the comment that she had lost one of her two only little little brothers, because she always thought of Bill and Dale as hers. Bill has a good and kind man, and I know my dad was very proud of both of his brothers, as I am.
Take care.
Doug Hemmingsen

Annette, Angie just told me about Bill's passing. I'm so sorry for your loss. Really enjoyed knowing you and Bill. Take your sorrow to our Lord and he will see you thru it. Was too bad Dale couldn't have been there. Will say a prayer for you and Mike and Leslie.

Annette, Michael and Leslie,
I remember when Bill was home for a weekend from the Air Force, he let me use his Jaguar XK120 for Saturday night - that was an extremely rare car and it was very special to me that he allowed me to use it. Cars were a big deal for all three of us boys. I looked up to him as a big brother and he always treated me very well and took good care of me. As we grew older, we also liked to share in a martini or two when we got together. Although the miles...

Annette, Michael, Leslie,
Our thoughts, prayers, and love we send to you. The many many years of wonderful memories of Uncle Bill are too many to note. We are beyond sad to hear of his passing but are grateful and thankful for just knowing him. The world was a better place because of him. All our love,
Randy & Molly

Leslie, Annette & Michael,
I am so sorry for Doc's passing, he was a kind man and am happy I knew him. I know you have many happy memories that will replace your sadness, till you meet again.
All my love-Grace

Annette, Michael and Leslie: I send my love and heartfelt sympathy to you for loss of a father and husband. Doc was a fun guy, quiet but funny. I always enjoyed our time together and I miss you all...

My first memory of Uncle Bill: He was VERY young, dressed in his uniform - home on Christmas leave, I think - and painting a model airplane in the farmhouse living room. I must have been pestering him for too long (I was preschool-age) because he offered to paint my nose airplane gray! Another time, he flew into McChord AFB and stayed the night with us - early '60's. Uncle Bill and Mom were talking in the kitchen, preparing dinner. I was tuning my violin for practice when a string snapped and...

Leslie,

I am so very sorry to hear about your father's passing. My heart and my prayers are with you and your family.

Love,
