Bill and I were best friends in High School at Notre Dame and stayed very close for many years after. He was Best Man at my wedding and he was Godfather to our son. Our sons grew up together and became close friends as well. We drifted apart during the later years but we never forgot each other and the great times we enjoyed, fishing, golf, and skirting trouble with our parents. He was a Great friend and brother. I just heard about Bill's death and I'm so very sorry. Not only did Bill and I attend elementary school together, we also graduated from Notre Dame HS together in 1969. He and I did a lot of fishing back in the early days and even went on a memorable fishing trip to Toledo Bend one Spring. I last talked to Bill about a year ago just before our 50th HS reunion. He was unable to attend due to health reasons. He was a great mechanic, a great fisherman, and a great friend. I'll miss him...

Bill and I shared many a good time, and some not so good. We would cuss and discuss just about everything going on in the world. We often said we could solve the world's problems if somebody would listen to us. Other times we were thankful nobody was listening. We attended several NASCAR races together at Texas Motor Speedway.
