Not sure what to say?

Bill Hereford hired me, a farm boy on my grandfather's homestead, in 1965 into his Field Test organization at Sandia Laboratories. I was enamored with the high-tech research and development work being done at the Labs. A year into the employment I noticed across the hallway in bldg 880 (a warehouse made into a rat-maze of labs) people working on small electronic things. Bill let me transfer to the Satellite Payload Systems group which led to a 35 year career in the developing space...

Uncle Bill was loved by many but especially the Hereford family in Alabama. I loved hearing him tell stories about his family. We loved seeing him at the summer reunions. Love to Robert, Lawrence, John, and Jim. Sorry I could not make it to Albuquerque to celebrate a wonderful life of a dear uncle!!

We met Bill when he and Carolyn came to our Sunday school class at Travis Avenue Baptist Church when they first moved to Fort Worth. What a joy it was to get to know them! Bill was a wonderful man and a good friend to all of us in the class. He enjoyed attending all of the class parties and get-togethers and always had a joke or two (or more) to share. He was a friendly, kind man and was fun to be with. We know how much he loved all of his family, and we extend our sympathy to you at this...

I worked with Bill during the 1970s and early 80s. We reconnected when he moved to Fort Worth with Carolyn. My wife LaVonne and I enjoyed many visits with them. Bill was just a good man!

Hereford family,
Bill & Carolyn were the first people with whom I dined when I moved to Broadway Plaza. What a delightful couple they were. Even though our time together was short, I will always treasure the memory of knowing them. May memories you treasure of Bill bring you comfort & peace. Sue Clover

We send our thought's & prayer's to the Hereford family.
