Not sure what to say?

I met Bill at Dunkin' in Warwick. He and I shared a love for the Nittany Lions and we loved to talk Penn State Football. I have just now found out he passed away (I was out of state when he passed). He was an awesome individual and I'll miss him. May he rest in peace. My prayers are for his family.

We just wanted to reach out to the family with a story of how we met your father. Our daughter Alexa Keegan is a freshman at Penn state and while at Home Depot one day my husband asked your dad about his Penn state PIn. When he would see our daughter he was always a so happy to talk to her about school.

They became friends and my husband had great affection for your dad. He would often call my husband and ask him how our daughter was doing or if we were going to the game.

My wife and I met Bill at the Warwick Garden Club. I worked the orchard with him and he was always patient and thoughtful with those of us that knew little about trees. Bill told me that he "didn't do email" so several times I found myself calling him or receiving his call about an orchard work day. After the call he would show up in his little truck that seemed to contain everything needed for our work that day. My wife and I ran into Bill several times at Pennings Orchard and he greeted...

We got to know Bill from the Warwick garden and orchard club. He was very helpful and eager to teach all that he knew about trees. From pruning, transplanting, feeding and caring for trees. He was always cheerful and happy to listen and advise. We will miss his concern for the community and his sense of humor. Rest in peace. Thom & Lyn

I would just like to share with you, what a wonderful human being your father was. Your dad came into the shop that I work at in Warwick around a year ago, being born and raised in Pittsburgh, I knew right away that he was from Gods Country. And who doesn't like anyone from Pennsylvania. Over the past year or so, he would stop into the shop whenever he needed something fixed, a little information, advice, or mostly just to shoot the crap.(I never heard him have a bad word about anyone, or...

Greg and Family,

We are very saddened to learn your Dad passed away. Your Dad was a very special person and a good friend. He was very kind and had a heart of gold. There is no one who had more knowledge of plants and landscaping than he did and he taught us a lot. We always enjoyed his visits and had many laughs together. He was very proud of you and he loved you and your family very much. We will miss him and our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

I was very lucky to have worked with Bill. I had only been gardening for a couple of years, and when we met it was such a treat! We talked about flowers, plants....I was amazed at his knowledge of gardening. He would help me pick out special plants for my garden and showed me some tricks of the trade. He told me stories of his work with horticulture, which I found fascinating. He also shared funny stories. Sometimes the jokes wouldn't be that funny, but I would still smile. He would say " See...
