My sincere sympathy on the loss of your father! I was away in Europe x 5 weeks and had COVID shortly after returning home 6/18. I called your dad´s phone number last month and today, I decided to Google his name and my heart is very sad! Your parents have always been very kind to me. Prayers continue for your family, living and deceased.

All of my children were students of Mr Hild at Lander school and I was with him in Adult Ed. Great administrator prayers and sympathy for a great man.

My deepest sympathy to his family and friends. I was a student at Mayfield when Mr. Hild was principal. He was a great role model and even though I recieved the paddle from him on one occasion... I always respected him. May he RIP. Steve

To Bill Hild´s Family, I was deeply saddened to read that your father, father-in-law, grandfather has passed. I was a Lander Parent Teacher Group President in the 70´s and enjoyed working with Bill. He was friendly, professional and truly cared about all students. I received a lovely note from him when my own beloved husband passed six years ago. May all of you, his decedents, find some comfort and peace knowing that others care. My deepest sympathy... With warmth, Flo Friedman

I knew Bill when H was Principal of Lander School while my son Rob, was a special ed student there. Bill truly was a great advocate of special education and kept track of families for years after we left Lander. He was soft spoken with a twinkle in his eyes and a great sense of humor. He was missed after his retirement.......and even now.
