I have plent of fond memories of golfing with Macky. Some I can tell and most I shouldn't. A fine man who will be greatly missed.

We are so very sorry to hear of the enormous loss of Macky Hill. He was a beloved and cherished husband, Daddy and Granddaddy. I will always very fondly remember the absolute ball of a time we all had with Mable and Macky, and the extended Hill clan, at Chrissy´s wedding celebrations in Charleston. It was indeed a distinct privilege and always a pleasure to work with this fine gentleman from both the bench and the bar in my career. He was the gold standard for civility and courtesy in negotiation while gently but firmly protecting his clients. Yet always ready for trial with minimal notice. Our profession has lost another one of our best examples.

I am so sorry to learn of Mr. Hill's passing away. I worked in Probate Court for 28 years and came in contact with Mackey and his wife, Mable. He was such a kind man as was his Mable. I am so sorry for your loss. Your family will be in my prayers in the days to come. With love...
