I met Wayne in the 4th grade at Bentley High School (1952). Wayne and I became close friends, growing up with Bentley summer recreation programs, playing baseball for Mr. John Mikulich. There was Wayne, myself, Terry Bate, Tom Burge, Dale Christensen, Gary Mallo, Nick Panchula, Ronnie Payne, Doug Pearce, Gerry Pugmire and many more.
I never had the chance to meet Wayne's children. Knew Lawrence well. Saw him over the years at wrestling tournaments. Wish I could be there to celebrate...
