Bill was my boss while he was the Inspector General of TVA. He was a kind and good man and someone believed, absolutely, in doing the right thing. He was as good a man as I ever worked with. I am saddened to hear of his passing.

Bill Hinshaw epitomized the words on the FBI seal - Fidelity, Bravery and Integrity, especially Integrity. He was a joy to work with and to know. He always had his agents' backs no matter what and always did "the right thing".

To Bill's family....I went to school with Bill in Greensboro, N.C. at Gillespie School (3rd thru 9th grades) and then at Greensboro Senior High School (10th thru 12th grades). I remember Bill's love of "ham radios" way back in the day. RIP Bill. Prayers for the family. Classmate and friend for many year.
