He was the best attorney I had and was the one to get me out of jail. I won't forget any of that. Thanks for everything you did for me. This is what I'll never forget.

Mr. Hoffer was an incredible person; always professional, patient and kind. I am shocked and saddened to learn of his death a few minutes ago. I kept trying to send him an email that remained "undeliverable," so I thought, "Oh, I bet he has begun his own firm!" It is with deep sympathy that I pass along my condolences to his family and other friends. Godspeed.
