Long time friend of Bill was George and Pat Slater. I am married to Pam. Just saw that one of Bill's Dr at MGH, Roman Desanctis passed away recently, made me look for Bill! Remember visiting Bill after some bypass surgery and he wanteda a pastrami sandwich from a local deli! Why not he reasoned! Got if for him! Memories live on for Bill!

Mr. Hoffman,
Sir, I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served in the USN during WW II and for being a member of the Greatest Generation. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.
