William Houk

To the Houk Family, my deepest sympathy on the passing of "Captain Bill". I had the pleasure to work with him at BUMED when he was Deputy for MED-02 and I was the Executive Assistant. During the rapid deployment during the first Gulf War, his experience was higly valued. On the personal side he was viewed as a "gentle giant" and someone you could trust. I wish him "fair winds and a following sea".

Susie Buckendorf told me Bill had passed away. I'm so very sorry. My husband, Marty Taub, served with Bill at BUMED and he was always coming home with some "tall tale" from work that Bill had been involved with. My deepest sympathy
