Not sure what to say?

Tom and Stacy ,
I am so sorry to hear about your Dad. He will truly be missed but will remain in your hearts forever. He earned his wings and is flying high now. My thoughts and prayers are with you and all your family.

To Tom, Dave and Bill - your father was a great and admired leader in the airline industry. His wisdom, foresight and appreciation of the many employees that worked for Piedmont was his legacy. He encouraged "self determination"...or in other words....he encouraged his fellow employees to "do the right thing" for the company and its customers. Without your father's vision there would have been no "west coast", the dramatic expansion and no London. He was an inspiration to so many of us at...

To Rev. David Howard and Family

So sorry to hear of the loss of your Dad. Please know you're in our prayers. Donna Tyner and Mother, Elizabeth Pleasants, Mt. Pisgah

Bill was a wonderful and caring man and was instrumental in making Piedmont such a successful airline. I am so glad that he spent his last months with his kind and loving family. I remember his wife, Lucy, when we all resided in Winston-Salem. They were a wonderful couple and family. I send all my love to his wonderful boys, daughter-in-laws and grandchildren. Bill, Lucy and their family were wonderful people and I am glad to say they were our friends. I was pleased that Mike and I talked...

Bill Howard was an amazing friend, husband, father, father-in-law and grandfather. His kindness and generosity will live forever in our hearts. I am fortunate to call him my friend, but blessed to call him the best father-in-law a girl could ever have. Now you have earned your second set of wings and heaven has now received an incredibly kind angel. My dearest father-in-law, May you rest in peace and soar above the clouds. We love you.

Bill Jr. and the rest of your family, thinking of you with the passing of your father. Will always remember the group of us trying to get you to drive us in your Father's hot rod on Fairmont Rd. Again to the entire family, your father will be greatly missed.

Dear Tom, Stacy & all the rest of the Howard clan: Your Dad was an amazing person and I am very lucky to have known him during the Piedmont years. He leaves a legacy in each of you. My sympathy and love to all.

To All The Howard Family,

Mr. Howard was a fine man who will be missed by many.
My thoughts and prayers go out for you at this difficult and sad time.

Sincerely,

Dear Dave and family,

I met your Dad twice while working for Aetna when Piedmont was an account of mine. He was loved and respected by all.

This is a hard time for you and my prayers are for you, DeeDee, Tim and Caroline. Be safe in your travel.
