Not sure what to say?

I treasure my interactions with Bill. He gave me the confidence to rebuild my Northend house into a very livable space. He was a wonderful man. I will always remember breakfast with his family before we started the project.

Dear Maxine and family,
I heard of the passing of Bill from my parents James and A.J. Henrie. Our thoughts are with you and your family. I have fond memories of you and Bill from my childhood in the Idaho City Branch and Thorn Creek. My sincere sympathy to you and your family.

Dear Maxine and family,
We attended the services for Bill today and were so touched by the beautiful spirit that was there. Thank you to all who spoke and sang. what a sweet tribute that was to the legacy of a remarkable man and his family. I am the daughter of Garth and Jewel Buchanan, and I have many wonderful memories of Bill and all of you and the love and spirit that readily felt in your home. I am a better person today after attending the funeral, I pray that my life can be more...

Dear Maxine and families, You are in our thoughts and memories and our prayers are with you. What good memories we have. Daddy George Bye) always regarded Bill as a true and honest man and respected him very much. My memories as a child, spent at the hot springs are very precious. Bill always had a comeback, to my..How are you doing?, when he would come in to Idaho Tractor for parts and rentals. I shall miss his wit and humor and his big smile. Love and hugs to you all. I especially...

Anyone who ever knew Bill and Maxine will remember their kind hearts and willingness to help anyone. Their wonderful cabin on Thorn Creek was enjoyed by many. I have wonderful memories of my time in the 20th Ward with the Huckstep family. My sincere sympathy to Maxine and the kids. Mary Farnsworth Walker

Dear Maxcine and Family.

Joel and I express our deepest sympathy to all of you with the unexpected passing of Bill.

Bill was a man of great integrity and love for his fellow man. Truly, he
lived by the motto "May my life touch for good all those whose path I cross today."

Those of us whose paths were crossed by Bill were truly blessed as he showed each of us love, kindness, support, and understanding. Joel and I will always be grateful that Bill touched...

Memories of Bill and Maxine Huckstep and their wonderful family go way back into the 1960s for our family. They were the ideal family that we wanted to emulate. Bill always had a friendly smile and handshake for each of us, down to the baby. His kindness and thoughtfulness warmed our hearts and the welcome we felt almost as part of the family when we visited them. In these later years it seems as if we were always talking about going to visit once again but didn't make it. We know his...

Uncle Bill you will be greatly missed! You will always be in our thoughts and memories. I will always remember the trampoline as well lol. Please tell my dad Dave Huckstep we said hi and miss and love him too. Aunt Maxine and all my cousins I am sorry for the loss. Always remember the good things he did in life for people. Love alway Teri Huffman (Huckstep) and family.

What good memories I have of coming over as a kid and jumping on the trampoline.
Many scratches and scrapes for Maxine or Bill to mend too. Mr. Huckstep was as fine and decent a person as anyone could ever meet or know. What a wonderful example he has left his family to follow. Even though his footsteps will be remembered, there will never be anyone who could ever fill his shoes. He had a talent for letting a person know how important they were and making one feel as if they had his...
